Become a Business Analyst

Learn the BA job by doing the job.

Live coaching from a practising business analyst, realistic project simulations, and a portfolio you can actually show an employer. For apprentices, junior analysts and anyone moving into BA.

No payment now — just put your name down. Dates are being set around demand.

Who it's for

Built for the people finding their feet.

If the theory makes sense but real BA work still feels daunting, this is for you.

🎓

Apprentices

On (or about to start) a Level 4 BA apprenticeship and want coaching that gets you confident, portfolio-ready and through End-Point Assessment.

📈

Junior & aspiring BAs

You've got relevant experience but want the core toolkit done properly — requirements, process modelling, stakeholder work — and the confidence to use it.

🔄

Career changers

Moving into business analysis from another role and want a practical, supported route in — taught the way you wish someone had taught you.

How it works

Taught live. Practised for real.

Covering software, change and data — the BA toolkit done properly.

💬

Live coaching

Small-group sessions with a practising BA who's also a qualified teacher and assessor — in person or in a virtual classroom.

🛠️

Realistic simulations

Work through real BA scenarios on the BA Hub platform between sessions, until running a project feels familiar.

📁

A portfolio to show

You leave with real artefacts and evidence — proof of what you can do, ready for an employer or your EPA.

The course

Three ways to start your BA career.

Tutor-led, in person and live online. You work realistic simulated projects across software, change and data — with the real BA tools and a portfolio you can show an employer.

🎯

6-week Simulation Programme

£5,950

The complete route in. Three simulated projects across three BA disciplines, the full toolkit (requirements, business cases, process & data modelling), an interview-ready portfolio and a final panel presentation. Includes a copy of The Business Analyst Blueprint and the BA Hub platform to keep.

2-week Course

£2,500

Short and fast. One simulated project, start to finish through a full BA cycle — kick-off, problem statement, as-is/to-be maps, MoSCoW, user stories. If you’ve recently been made redundant, get in touch — there may be funding you can put towards the fee. Includes the book and the platform.

🎓

3-month Programme

Price on enquiry

For apprentices and junior BAs. Three months across software, change and data — remote and facilitator-led, fitting around the day job — with portfolio building and End-Point Assessment prep. Level 4 (ST0117).

Don't pay for it yourself

Get your employer to fund it.

If you're employed, there's a good chance your training can be paid for — the money is often already there and goes unspent because nobody asks. Here's how to ask.

1

Know where the money is

Most employers hold a learning & development, training or CPD budget — money set aside to develop their staff. It's often underspent by the end of the year. A place on this programme is exactly what it's for.

2

Make the business case, not the personal one

Don't say "I want to do a course." Say: "I want to be more effective in my role — fewer mis-specified projects, less rework, better requirements — through a structured, hands-on programme."

3
