Who we are
BA Hub is operated by Hublinko Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17347578) ("we", "us"). For anything privacy-related, contact us via the contact form.
What we collect and why
- Contact & enquiry forms — your name, email address and message, so we can reply to you. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
- Course brochures & register interest — your name and email so we can send the material you asked for and follow up about the course. Lawful basis: consent.
- Live chat ("Speak to Joanne") — the messages you type, stored securely so we can reply. Chat notifications sent to our phone contain no message content.
- Account (optional) — email and password if you create an account, so your work is saved to you. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
- Your work in the tools — diagrams, notes, templates and simulation progress, stored in your browser (and against your account if signed in) so you don't lose it.
- Billie chat history — the questions you ask Billie (and her answers) are kept so she can remember your conversation. They stay in your browser, and if you're signed in they're also saved against your account so your history follows you between devices. Deleted with your account, or sooner if you ask us.
- AI answers (paid feature, when enabled): if you tap the button asking Billie to "think it through with AI", that question and a little page context are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the answer. This is only available when you are signed in. The request goes through our own server first, never straight from your browser to Anthropic. We use one model only, Claude Haiku 4.5. Anthropic deletes the question and the answer within 30 days, and never uses either to train AI models. We do not store the text of your question or the answer at all: we record only the date, the model used and the size of the request, so we can apply your allowance. Everything else Billie does happens with no AI provider involved.
- Privacy-friendly analytics — only if you accept cookies. See our Cookies policy.
Where your data lives
Form submissions, chat messages and account data are stored with Supabase, our database provider, in their London region. That means your account and everything you save stays in the UK. The website is hosted on our hosting provider's infrastructure.
The one exception is the AI answers described above. Anthropic is a United States company and processes those requests outside the UK. There is currently no UK or EU only option for this service. The transfer is covered by the safeguards in Anthropic's commercial terms. If you would rather nothing of yours went to a provider outside the UK, don't use the AI button. Every other part of BA Hub works without it.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and chat messages: up to 24 months, then deleted. Account data: for as long as you keep your account. Work stored in your browser stays on your device until you clear it. Questions sent to the AI: deleted by Anthropic within 30 days, and never stored by us.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Use the contact form and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the top.
